im not doing much on the blue 6 till of off p's one i am off them it's a new power plant dont know what yet idears eneyone?
in the next year im going to get new rims bigger sound new carpet i need a taillight to get it on the road lol dam rwc shit f*** vic roads and there laws and i need to get a/c regased im going to repaint one of the dores from where my brother got a bit hevey haned when we was helping me get pinstriping off with asatone dam striped the paint back to the metal

That was basically the first thing I did when I got my old girl, pinstripes, took ages but because they were all perished from the many years of the suns harmful rays, lol...


For the power plant, if your going to have a bit of cash lying around, is either

An LSX type V8 starting from around the $5000 just for the motor, and you'll need some custom exhaust headers, plus a gearbox, shortened tailshaft, radiator, and the looms etc... and the rest...
Or an Buick/Ecotec - second hand - get a wreck, then you just need the modified crossmember, tailshaft, looms etc...
Or even an alloytec - you can pick them up for around the $3500?
Or even an injected 5L out of a VS etc,
Or just an old 308,
Or even a RB30 or 28 turbo...

Any of them would be a nice power plant for the old girl!!!

yer the sun just truned them in to sticky dust i think il go for the alloytec you can get a twin trubo kit for them i think im not 100% on that bit yet and i have 2 years to save for it so no rush still need to fix a bit in the boot where the seel has rused way but thats the only rush i can find on her wich is good!! and small things like new tyers and one tailight

Yeah thats the way, a TT Alloytec would be very nice for it, not sure how tuneable they are though? At least you have a while to plan it all out, and find out what will need to be done, costs, etc..


Thats about the only place mine had rust in it aswell, must be a bad design, like it must hold water in there or something??

Goodluck with getting it passed, it should go with a little tidy up here and there, hope its a good car for you..

yer it sound every where alse my tafe teacher has one as well and thats the only place he got rust so yer must hold water in there and then it just rusted away i have made a pice to weld in to reper it today i pained the back right dore il put the pics up tomoz or in the next few days

Sweet as man, good effort, its the only way to fix it properly - cut out the rusty shit, and weld in some nice new steel..

I tried rust converting, and bogging over my old girls boot bit, and a few months later it was back.. so I did it all properly..

yer i have made it out of 0.8 gal steel so it wont rust and it will replace the old shit

well from the outside it looks clean but when you get under it ..... the exhaust is stuffed it has 1 minlon and 1 big as holes in it....... i was planing on puting it up on stands today but i droped i kichen kinfe in to my foot last night and i can berly wark with 5 stchers in it ..... but as soon as im up im riping in to it i have 1 mounth and 2 days to have it on the road time is awasting bean saveing my funds for now so if i dongt hit abig problem i sould be right
