My bargin VC!
Hi people!
just thought i would show you all my bargin vc brought it for $750 It was a one owner.
It got a 173 blue motor aussie 4 spd. The interior is in great condition apart from the carpet witch i am changing soon. I give the motor a bit of a freshen up with new gaskets all round. got a redline manifold and 350 holley to go on it in the near future.
I have also put all new rubbers under her and put lowered king springs and new shocks. all new brakes yeah i think that all. In a year or so il be putting a vn v6 in her that i got given to me just gathering all the parts frist.

I am about to dump a V6 in my VB.
I have most parts now.
I have had discussions with an Engineer. All looks good.
I will advertise the 202 in my beast on ebay next week and probably pull it out next weekend.
Keep us posted how you go. I have it a figure except the wiring at this stage.

no p's ,I Dont mind a v6 but id love to have a 5lt but dont have the cash. And i got the motor for nothing.

5l's arnt that expensive you can pick up injected 5l's for $1000 sometimes just depends if you can wait

Were do you look? iv looked on ebay a while ago and people want to much for clapped out motors. But on the same hand i could spend the $1000 Bucks on the v6.

why don't you start by looking here, just a thought as I'm sure there has been more than a few enginge swaps between the members over time. Bit of work starting with a six cyl commodore, find a donor with a crap as body for probably not even $1000, then you have the brakes, V8 diff and whatever else.
