    Default New ride VC

    Hi guys,

I am new to this forum but have been a holden fan forever

I have just bought a mint VC commodore for a project car for $1500.

    I have plans

    LS2
    T56
    9" diff
    Vt brakes
Brocky kit or group C depending on what the eng says

    midnight blue

But I am the start so a long way to go but a really good shell and interior to start with.

I will keep you posted with progress and probably ask a lot of questions along the way

    Cheers

    Sean

yeah looks pretty clean. its amazing some people judge a old car like the vh/vb/vc on the price, but once they get in the car and check the engine bay out etc, they will be quite surprised

make sure ya do post more pics hehe

    I have been busy tonight.

Installed the Manual pedal box from a 6 cylinder VL to get a hydraulic clutch for the T56

    notes:

remove spacers from the pedalbox mounting points to firewall. ( spacers already exist in rubber in VC)

longer bolts required for master cylinder as the spacers from the VL are thinner than the ones in the VC if you try and use bolts from VL

Holes already exist but you have to file a bit in the bottom on the hole for the clutch master cylinder ( i will post pics later)

    other than that sweeeeet

    Cheers
