I bought my first car about a month or two back i got the car off some guy for 600 bucks it was used as a family car so i dont think its been thrashed. iv not done to much to it iv just cleaned it up and i bought new pedders ultra low springs for it they came off a v8 so they sit around super low hight on my 6 cyl they also came with two front shortend shocks witch was good but i plan on buying better front and rear shocks because i still have standerd shocks on the rear i havent put front suspension in yet because i dont have a spring compressor. ill throw up some photos and tell us what you think?

this is what the car looked like when i first bought it.

amazing what a cheap ten buck cut and polish will do

i really should lower the front soon

yeah its auto

i wanna do a manual conversion but i dunno if its worth it yet and i wanna put some simmons on it but need to sort out the water leak. thanx mate

Looks like you'll need to find some secondhand Simmons's what a pain you can't get new ones anymore... they'll look good on the VK.

Lol, yeh, no doubt a different car to the one I'm talking about.

What type are you thinking? B45s or FRs or soemthing?

i really like the fr18s i thinks thats what there called but it will be hard to get my hands on a set thats not too much money

i havent really posted what iv done lately but iv refurnished the speaker shelf with black vinal so now the kenwood speakers look better. still not sure if they work since i still dont have a radio. i got out my whole front left side suspension and im gonna take it down to a garage so they can take off that stupid bolt with requires a rattle gun

arghhhh im still only on left side i cant wait to have the whole car off jacks

well not done to much to it lately but i did happen to buy some night shade paint and tint my near lights and i painted the wheels silver just thought id chuck up some new pictures thanx.

you can get the tail light tint for around 15 buks at ur autobarn
otherwise they are allwase for sale on ebay
i brought a set on ebay for 10 buks.

nice clear engine with new head gasget.

new dash iv done the doors but cbf putting photos of them till iv done the head lining

hit us up on what you guys think btw im only 15 and have been building this car up without any help hence i dont know anyone who knows stuff about cars thanks take care

im doing the front in the next week or so its just hard to find the time and money iv already got one side of the front sorted its just the other side needs to be done im putting a new speaker in the dash becuase i found this little hole type thing so yeah lol thanks for the comment take care

hey mate this car has com up nice since u first brought it.. good work an for ya age u doing well with it mate stick to it and she will be a beast????every need any pointers just ask mate????? things id do when cash is available is tint, short shocks, low springs, police stockys in black and also front an back bumpers in gloss black as well nice an cheap but look crazy on a dump vk

thanks for that mate yeah i think im going to keep this car for a long time just keep working on it iv got a long way to go but it will be fun and good experiance iv only got one more year of schooling till i can start my apprentice ship so then at least ill have money to spend on her thanks

great work mate, you've really resurrected a rather sorry looking VK which could have been destined for the wreckers, into a tidy, good looking VK. And good on you for doing the work yourself - big effort from a 15 y/o. Good luck with the future plans - well done

impressive man as Darren said u did a good job re-surrecting it! just keep the polish up on the red paint!!, coz reds not a natural colour pigment they fade really quickly!!!
