This is my VK executive (project)

What i wanna do to the car:
VE Stripes
Upholstered seats (brown with white trim)
Paint the dash (brown with white trim)
Rear chubby tires
Group C bonnet scoop, wing and flares
new carpet and head liner dont know what color yet
and theres more somewhere in the back of my head

Looks like a good starting point, Why not go for a 5L 304/308 in her?

Thats the plan but im still on my L's until January so that upgrade will have to wait

I was gonna get a 308 when my car died i got a lube mobile guy out to have a look and he said my engine is F**ked and straight away i started thinking yes an excuse to put a better engine in but then my girlfriend got her friend to have a look and all that needed replacing was the crank shaft or something. Damn women wreck my dreams lol

Can anyone point me in the right direction to how to remove the door panel to fix the window. It does not roll all the way down

Pretty sure there are screws in the armrest. then its all just clips. I could be wrong.

Just found the rear wheels i want for my VK
They might be a little big though

ok for the door you unscrew the handle.
then unscrew the door locker jsut by twisting it until it comes off.
the window winder is tricky
theres a clip inside it, you have to pull out hte chip with blade screwdirives
or the pointy nose plyers
its ***n hard mate. took me hours lol
then dad came home n did the other one in 5 minutes.
so shatterd lol

Im also going to put a new racing steering wheel in remove the old alarm which it maybe draining my battery, try and fix the dash and also try and see what i can do about the petrol smell might be a leak somewhere
And i think thats it but i have a feeling Im missing something

for $1 lol of ebay
and if they are shit who cares they were only $1

Just fixed the window
the nong who owned the car before me must have removed the bolt that holds the window track because when i took the panel of i found it laying in the bottom of the door had to go to bunnings to get a replacement one
the hardest thing was getting the that stupid metal thing out of the window winder
but with a bent screw driver came off in seconds

Now when i go to maccas drive through i can wind the window down now

When it is finished the speaker enclosure will be painted black and the door will be re-trimmed with black leather or something similar

That purple will be pretty crazy. nice work on the door pods.

Next on the list is to get that bloody CD player installed then get the VR wagon front seats from my sisters car hope they fit the VK.
