My VK exec 85 commo

Here is my 2nd car, first i had a ford fairlane..... but sold that lol and got this VK for 500 cash, as my mum's friends son needed to sell it, alot of problems with it tho, spent prob about 1500 or so on it,

some of it done with me and my dad and uncle and the rest was at the mechanic, and still needs some more work done to it.

Standard 202 6cyl black motor, has extractors, 2" exhaust system not sure what else, but all of this was done b4 i got it.

future updgrades

depending on how much money i have, or the job i have, either get this motor recondition or i'll just buy a new create motor for it

new tires+mags
tinted window
new respray
new interior, sort of like what sir calais did do his

and what ever else comes to mind when/if i have the spare cash lol.

anyhow here are some pics a bit old, b4 i got it road worthy and registered I'll post some new up soon.

Outside the front of the house i bought it from, still have those mags just the tires was baldy lol

i was thinking about a respray of a different colour but some say leave it like that, orig colour or something what ya's think?

leave it white, i like white
but redo the silver bumpers, and do the silver to the floor ( calais style )
my next thing would be debadge but u alredy done that

how does it run? mine ran like a dog till the other day i did a home service, changed all filters changed oil did a oil flush
new plugs and new leads and it feels great and runs great

yeah i bought a lot of stuff like that, new leads, oil filter, petrol filter, a lot of other stuff, spent a fair bit on it so far, runs pretty good for a straight 6, the exchaust makes it sound meaner then what it is lol

i'll put up a video soon but i like the shape of it and the car itself just want to change the interment panel and console like sir calais has done to his.

nice start mate! let as know how ya go! my last vk was white but i grabbed some black bumper paint for like 12 bucks a can and painted the bumpers black! use one can per bumper and give it a couple coats! looks sweet!

An update,

got the 2nd hand petrol tank in there yesterday and also the 2nd hand instrument panel, working great, i have a fuel gauge that works now lol,

also running really well, good throttle response and no flat spot anymore, amazing what clean fuel and petrol tank does lol

just gotta try and figure out why my console has 2 holes and my car only has 1, i made a post in the vk section lol hopefully get some answers about it,

will also put up a video as well after i clean it of course

cheers mate, yeah gonna give it a wash, clean window's take that crap seat-cover off the back, give it a good detail, degrease the engine and put some pics up,

gotta re-register it and would like to get those mags back on it lol

ok bit of a update

fixed the shelf that was for the speakers, originally it was just sprayed red and not even screwed in or anything jumping around when u go over bumps, but now i covered it with some special carpet from clark rubber and put some speakers in it, looks good now, and got a new stereo, and now i just gotta work out how and where i can put front speakers lol, guy cross the road is going to help me

but i actually have something to listen to now haha, after front speakers and sub-woofers are in, will get some carpet put down and new shocks lol
