ello all! I have been a member of the forum for a while now but didnt want to post anything until the project was nearing completion. But as it is 99.99% complete except for a little tuning i thought that i would share.
We had a VH SS Group III restored (it had been sitting in the shed for over 10 years and not moved) and speced out for targa racing as we want to race the car in tarmac road rallies. Everything has been left pretty standard except the brakes and the motor has been stroked to 355 (which is acceptable as it was a HO option from factory). Here are some before and after pics and also a couple of clips from its first run.
Hope you enjoy!

looks awesome mate, great work on the restoration. Only thing I reckon would improve the look, is to black out the window frames like the original
I thought I was seeing my own car in the videos - I took my red VH SS out for a run at a QR trackday a few months ago and also had it filmed.
I loved it.
