i first brought this car off my uncle for 500 bucks. it was not in this condition, ill put some pics up of what it use to look like. but after a nice paint job, some superlow king springs, and a new conditioned 202 wit headers and a nice exhaust it made a world of difference. sorry about the poor photos.
yeah i was thinking about buying a new set and putting them on to see how it looks. anyidea how it would look with calias moulds white over grey or silver??
how much do those venetian blinds cost?????
shit yeah white over silver looks good, after my surgery and when i go back to work and get abit of cash ill look into that. and im def going to get a set of ventians prob just the rear and not the sides.
had my surgery, got some more pics of my car ill put up if you's want. let me no. i have interior pics and rear pics cos i haven't posted any pics of those![]()
If you can help it, avoid series 1 VN engines when you do a conversion as they are very harsh, VP/series 2 is better the VR is better again and so on.
thanks for that man yeah i go back to work in a few weeks then ill save my pennys and look around for a donar car. i wanna get the most powerful early model v6 for it.
ill post some more pics up now.
guys i need some guidance, i dunno which way to go i have the donar car to do the v6 conversion but i kinda wanna build a mild 308 for it. what should i do???????
Keep the VR as the daily and v8 the 'K'!
yeah but only problem is i started stripping the vr so it will cost me to get it back on the road and i just wanna focus my funds on the vk as i am on apprentice wages
goin ahead with the v6 conversion after much thought, goin to the swap meet saturday to see what goodies i can find mainly looking for a vb-vk v8 diff.
building a 308 but dunno what im putting it in just yet thinking of getting a vk or vh wagon for it. picked it up the other week and took it to work and started the rebuild, the first photo is when i just brought it home, i started cleaning the heads up will shave them tomorrow, and i gave the bores a quick bottle hone to see how they were as they were painted and they are mintwill also take the cam bearing out tomorrow and throw the block in the acid. ordered a rebuild kit on friday plus crow lifters and acl flat top pistons
i will really enjoy this as it is my first little 308
anyway already have most the parts as it came with a heap.
bores 60 thou oversize thank #### its only just been bored, pistons came today as well as kit, pressed old pistons off today and rods are in the acid.
