Nice Vk man love the color scheme never seen somthing like it b4, from what ive heard everyone thats have a vk and sold it eventually regrets it your better off keeping it even for a weekender. i could neva sell mine to much time and effort put into it.

Mate, ive always had something for your VK.
its mint.
I sold my old VH, man I thrashed it and didnt look after it, complete opposite to your thread.
If I were you, Id keep it, atleast for a few more months/years.
The colour scheme looks soo nice on it mate the whole car is done nicely.
And if you sell, you will look back and miss it.
Especially since you have done lots of little things to it to make it unique.

fumes is from cracked or broken fuel vapor lines. i redid them all and mine is great. i had so many fumes that i could have filled my tank again!
blue smoke mine does more than just start up. but lost at start up. tip is to put a thinker oil in so it dont burn or pu tsome moreys oil thinkener in. will fix that
and i thought you fixed both the boot and guard?
and its a commo. they require lots of effort to keep going well.

Where are the fuel vapour lines? I get realllly bad petrol smells after i fill for days after
What gas did u put in? I hearedit was banned and i wanna gonna buy one from a pulsar but never got around to

OK look at my vk thread and you will see the pics of the vapor lines. with my car after i filled it, it stank like you said "for days".
they are part of the tank. they are the smaller hoses. the bigger hose is for over flow. If you need anymore info on the vapor lines pm me or wat ever. i pulled my whole tank out so i know pretty much everything.
i haven't put gas in it yet. luckily my dad is a X-aircon mechanic so he can get gas from mates and knows how to put it in. yes it is illegal. i think you have to get your mechanic to do it :\
don't buy anything from a pulsar. worst idea. there is multiple types of refrigerant. it will probably be the wrong one. if unsure then make a thread for help. sure someone here will know the deets.

finally got around to painting the boot lid.
came up good. just letting it sit till i put it on
started painting the guard, got a full coat and realised i had ran outa paint! LOL
ohwell ill sand it back and do it again
fixed the heater

yeah i changed the dash to a tacho dash, then the glass lens broke when i was putting it together so it didn't have one then my #### head drunk mates were playing with the dials and broke the speedo dial -.-

got black carpet now and that bottom trim from the dash is broken
but I'm looking thru thru the wreckers atm to find more dash pieces to fix it all
