I do in a way like this green because I don't see many in this colour. It's just a hard colour to work out a 'colour scheme' to suit.

    Interior, motor wheels etc.

    I'm stuck on colours!
I'm think the interior will mainly consist of black. Considering its a daily, I'd love to go white but that's just too much cleaning.

dark green interior and dark green exterior. chrome trim makes that green ZIIING. a nice set of polished SLE rims, the ride height you have it at, polish the shit out of the bumpers and keep your windows untinted. get a good note out of your 308 and itll be perfect.

    IMO

    Aww deved mann.
You should be able to drive the VH still.
The V8 restriction can fu** off.
It was you're only car regoed in your name at the time? (hopefully it actually was, or you could say it was and hope for the best)
    If so, then they cant do shit. You drove it before the law came to effect you, so you get turned into an exception (;
    well apparently thats the go.
i should know, because the im in them, but meh.. only illegal if caught...

Only problem is.. when caught, your licence goes walk abouts for a year. And so do you.

    Bit of an update.

The VH is now in the shed for a makeover.
I've decided.. with the way police are these days that my VH will look factory just ..low, really.. low.

    To get this..
    Step 1, The new daily!
    200B Datsun!

    Step 2, ditch the 18" VY ss's!
Replaced with a more.. factory look.

Really tight fit with the front end height.. i can see myself coming into a few problems with this.

Out of curiosity.. Has anyone thought of 'sinking' the tail lights into the body?

My tail lights have a chrome box around them, I'd like to remove it so it's just the bare tail lights, then 'sink' them into the body so it's flush with the panel? ( as you'd find on a newer commodore )

It's just an idea, all opinions welcome.

hmmm these have a plastic beaver same as a VK? i mean the bit that joins the two lights together. i think you will find that recessing that trim with be a huge cnut. in fact the whole job would be an arse. you will have to section around 5mm from your 1/4 panels, which means you need to know how to weld... and weld REALLLLLLY well, cos those 1/4's will warp like a bitch if you go too hot.

not sure i would approve of that mod, but i do approve of the rims. they 15's or 16's? remember than putting bigger rims on your car actually makes it look higher. i was running my VK with 15's and superlows. it looked dumped but was completely RWC and i easily made it up and down my steep driveway

Screw the tail light idea then..

Considering it's the last of the chrome bumpers I'm thinking of making it look really old..

Interior wise and I was thinking the old school mirrors?

    they're 15's with 205/65's.

I traded the VY ss's for them plus $275.

What do you think of the mirror idea ari? i can't decide to make the car a lil bit different or just a simple restore
