    Default Todd's new project ( on road )

    Heres a few pics of the beast

    253 Auto. Sluggish as hell, apart from the shiftkit jolt

    ( yes yes yes, i dont like the stone guards either. ) and its not me in the picture by the way. im uh.. slightly younger ha

    Thought id throw a random picture of my friends VK. No, those aint rear cut springs. just a fair bit of weight in the rear end.

    Shaun ( vk owner ) and i both bought project cars around the same time. VK and VC yet both those cars were duds, so we now bought these. VK and VH SL/X

    Shauns vk is currently a 202 auto, although it'll be a V6 5speed within a week or two.

    We're both really into cars, and both plan a future involving them. We may be young and ..unknowledgeable but we're learning along the way!

    Just a lil update..

    Rather then my faded tail lights.. i thought i'd paint up some SLE style tail lights.

    Bought some VY SS 18's the other day ($550 with BRAND new yokohama tyres. score or what?) and then spent the rest of my paycheck on a little chrome

    I'll get a new ride height within the next week or two, so ill upload some 'stylish?' pictures then.

    My goal is to keep up with/beat a VX SS.

    Theres a little rash, but i'm still happy with them considering the price i paid for them. Thinking about a white respray? as below.

    Update;

    Kingsprings go in monday, gonna be ridin' low. Pretty much the ride height of the photo above ^. Rear will be sitting just above the rim, Front JUST tyre height.

    Now.. the bad news. Thought i'd come out front and show the ugly side of my car

    But.. there is a solution. Thinking of a cheap closed door respray like this;

    This way i can get rid of that ugly paint, while i save for my dream paint job.

    Once again, Thankyou KarCreations.

    Explaining the background of my shed lol;

    Number plates=

    SPH.210; My VC commodore - Car i joined this forum with.

    The VC today;

    S156.AIZ= My TE Gemini ( Note, the picture is AFTER i sold it. )

    The TE today;

    S611.ADA= My VR Commodore ( Turned out to have a cracked chassis. So, thrashed the #### outta it. )

    And the VN in the background is my little brothers VN Berlina, with a pitjob defect. Complete idiot for buying it. But i must admit, i had fun blowing up the trans.

    Update;

    Plates Ordered. (NFNSUS)

    No idea when they'll arrive but pictures will be uploaded as soon as they do!

    My Carpet arrived yesterday after A LOT of screwing around with delivery.

    Postage seemed pretty shitty, sticky tape and a garbage bag. Although product looks well.
    Thank you TruFit Carpets.

    Carpet will go in when I get off my ass and somehow stop my boot from leaking.. ( any tips? )

    When the leaks are done. The battery will be transferred to the boot, and then it'll be time for carpet.

    I grabbed them off eBay, the title was "Ultra low" Yet the part number has "SL" ( Super low )

    So I can't give a straight answer. Although look for ultra low king springs on eBay and you should find them easy enough.

    I thought I might add, I have Monroe GT gas shocks. I don't know how factory shocks will hold up.

    Lost my license the other day aha.

    72 in a 50 zone. :/

    But I'm now on some good behavior bond thing... So I'll be on my P's for another two and a half years, along with driving courses etc. Not to mention my $800 fine.

    Worst part is, I can't drive V8's on this agreement! So I'm sending off a form to try and Appel so I can drive my VH. Wish me luck.

    Yeah, in SA if you had your licence BEFORE that power restriction law came in you could drive a twin turbo big block and that can't do anything..

    But now that i officially lost it ( even though it was only a few days ) my licence has been redone therefor i now come under the law.. But if theres a will, theres a way.

    how can you get your l's then 6 months later you can get your p's... the only way you can do that is if you are over 18 when you go for your p's. even so you still need to do the 120 hrs

    Mad, it's SA rules. Well use to be.

    L's - 6months
    P's - 1year
    P2's - 1year

    Full license.

    I was about a week off my full license. Now I'm knocked back to P's for two and a half years.

    But the laws have changed now, gotta have your L's for a year. Not sure about the rest
