Something in the VH's i've been wanting to test out is in the sl/e and some of the sl/x speedo's (if you take your's out of the cluster) there's 3 pins to connect wires onto them... I'm wondering if you can use that magnetic pickup to talk to the ecu and then run a normal TH350 speedo cable to the original cluster....
My vh SS has the 3 pins on the speedo but a few other VH's i've played with didn't have em...
I only mention this as a few ppl have said they had the speedo adaptors break on them.

v6 conversions, google them and there number will come up and cost me $250 as for running the pro ratchet adapting the vh selector with vn parts was just going to be a pain in the ass not to mention having to belt more room in your tunnel for it, cable shifter is so much easier looks heaps better to i think

ok so they do sell them on there own i thought they only sell kits i will call them Monday, and i'm running a t5 304 into a vl

so close now just waiting to get through christmas then ill finish it off, only needs the exhaust finished off no, going twin cats and mufflers dumped just over the diff, should sound sweet!! also put some chromies i had laying around on it. then after it gets regoed it will be off for a new coat of colour.

i'm in the same boat lol,i would love an exhaust like that too!! though wouldn't a rego inspection kill us every time??

just wondering why you would need to belt more room in the tunnel? i ran a vt box in my old wagon and that has the electronics on the selector and i still didn't need to make more room but i just modded the vh shifter to have an extra gate.
