My 85 VK Calais

Hey everyone this is my vk just thought id show some people
Make / Model: Holden 85' Calais
Colour: some sort of pearl paint job - blue/green
Engine Type: 202 EFI
Engine Mods: extractors, rebuilt
Power: No Idea
Exhaust: Old sports exhaust
Gearbox: Auto
Diff: LSD
Brakes: Disc front and rear
Suspension: dont know but is slightly lower than usual
Wheels/Tyres: 19" SSV wheels
Interior: Calais Ceurlean
Stereo: kenwood flip dvd Head unit, 6"x9"s, 6.5" splits

Future mods:
Working on a decent boot install
install my splits
get a body kit and a respray
chuck an 8 in it
lower it
get a louder exhaust

and the list goes on lol will take time to do some of these things..

Cheers man i had one before this one as my first car and was doing it up and bought this as a parts car but this was a calais so things changed and i gave dad the berlina to do up lol , i actually moved to melbourne few years ago and they cant drive v8s on their ps here so i unfortunetly had to get a six ethier way ... stupid victorian rules i know but i was 15 when we moved so no choice.

Thanks man, yer sadly im still an L plater and im almost 19 due to not filling my log book out all the time. but ive just completed it so hopfully i will have them soon

Yer just make sure u do your log book i regret not filling mine out as i had do a few hundren hrs easy but no proof so had to start over also only just recently put these wheels on they had brand new ve tyres on them when i bought them new and the ve's profile wouldnt clear my strut tower so i had to get new tyres all round, befor i had chrome vr clubsport replicas now there on my old vk berlina calais mock

love the vk bro ####ing sweet but please leave the body the way it is it has a perfect body and you dont wanna hide it with body kits. just my opinion if you wanna put a body kit on one do it to the berlina not the calais. anyway love the car man

Thanks vk_4speed wont be getting a kit till i get a respray and i dont really Need one asap so wont happen for awhile also it i get one im only getting grpa front with grp 3 boot spoiler- no side skirts or rear bumper the berlinas now my dads and he just got it a new rwc today.

Jonno In my book i have 124 hrs i think, im gona book for some lessons soon for parking and other crap, where abouts in melbourne are you? Any where near cranbourne? I dont know that many suberbs here yet

also dont get a body kit. only get the spoiler. not the front bumper. they look bad unless you have the full set. they look to flat otherwise.

Sick sounds good.. Lol stuff vls they crowed every thing there were loads of them on c4c last yr, im trying not to drive mine atm somthings wrong with my engine they think its the cam so ill try to take it tomorrow and get it fixed, also gotta put my 6.5" splits infront and put my subs in b4 it get organised, and have no music in the car lol, anyidea how to cut the metal in the front door with out using a grinder?

I used a grinder!
I gotta re do mine though. It looks stupid, (i got the wrong spacers)
But ill do the sub/ wiring for ya,
I know the vk back to front now.

yer man but all my wireing is in but looks abit messy but i need to make a boot install b4 i put them in because the box they are in is made for a vy commodore and is way to big... i want my speakers in the front bottom corner and theres no holes behin there theres still original plastic covering behind the door trim lol

was at jollys upull it today after work and got some new armrests for the rear i got out of a vl sl front doors so they dont have the stupid ash trays in them so should make the doors look neater, also was talking to the owner while he was and my factory and he said he opened another jollys u pull it in ring wood no idea where that is any of yous seen it?
