Vh Gassers budget build

This is my budget build on a Vh sl commodore goes ok for what it is needs tlc

The repairs on the passenger side was done in 3 hours
I found a pair off sl/e rear tail light extension so I bolted them up


This is where I got the name Vh gasser

now for the repairs




now saturday I had to repair the cracked floor and also got the boot lid bonnet and drivers side completed




So I have found the colur I will be painting it whhels are sorted so is suspension
I keep the post updated when I can

Looks to be a nice tidy project to play with.
What colour interior are you looking to go for?
Nothing wrong with BBQ gas, can be pretty reliable if setup well and maintained. Shame about how much room you lose in the little boots with a tank in there though.

Friday 20/4
this will be the last day I get to drive the patch mobile
as the windows will be coming out to repair the last bits off rust
then a block down remove all handles lights bars grille mirrors etc
then hit it with a few nice coats off Epoxy
interior colour I like would be red but would consider brown/tan
and grey

I work in a crash shop I had my own shop for a few years

finally all rust has gone also got the roof smoothed now epoxy primer time

looks like you need to work the edge of the boot lid its a little wavey but looks like its coming along nicely.

ha yer i only started to rub it to see how it would come up.
before I rub anymore on the outside i paint door jams inner gaurds
and in side boot
then i start to block it

I wish I made more today sat the 5th woke up stiff and sore neck only got one 1/4 panel blocked and roof waste off a day
