My VH beast

had my beast for 5 or 6 years now when i got it was stock have maded some changes to it this is what i have done from stock to now VH SL/E 1983 Straight 6

Put on a set of extractors and a 350 holly
was a webber till 2 weeks ago

2 1/2" sports exhaust system

Sports steering wheel

New paint job done by me and my best mate at my place
without spray booth in 2pak 2 shades daker the the oringal paint

new mags bought for $100 the set of 4 still in box (brand new never been on the or had tyers on them) road and new tyers dukes of harzzad air horns

stereo system
Sony xplod head unit
2x Sony xplod 6x9 on the back shelf
2x Panasonic 6" splits in forn doors
2x Sony xplod 12" subs with a Boss 1000wats amp runing the

Future Mods
i would like to rebuild the motor put stage 3 cam or put one of the 308's i am getting soon as a repo job from a bloke who owes me some money just do the motor up i have now anyone got any suggestions i would like to put in a lsd help me out guys give me some idears the spot lights will be going behind the gril and a new front bar going on

I have bought some guages and am in the process of putting them in

also need a front left hand side brake calliper as it has somthing wrong with it

and there is poblem with amp that i need to look at

other then that in the new year will be getting Rego and the Blue Bitch will be on the road

I was recommended to put a 308 in my old VB, but just sold it eventually. Pity, could of had alot of fun with that car.

My best mate he use to work for a scrap place that had the contract to go around all the tyer places to pick up the old and demo stock and they use to on sell them and he got them for me cant say who or where

Very nice, my first ride was a vh, whack a V8 in it, mabye a 253 or mine used to have a 283 chev, went like the wind!

Bit of a UPDATE

Have put some guages in (Water/oil pers/Volts) have also tinted the windows (done ourselfs) and have also put a tacho and dash mat in,

I am not puting a 308 in anymore i am putting a 253 thats got in with ACL race top pistion's and molly rings and a crane cam to suite keeping for now the 350 holly then later on look at getting somthing else and when the 253 gose in a set of Genie III extractors going into a singel pipe 2.5" redback exhaurst system will be going in as well as a V8 commodore disk brake gor warner LSD diff and when the 202 comes out i will be respraying the engine bay before putting the 253 in

Found a crack in the chassie rail which has been fixed and enginerred and fixed a few other thing to do with eathing issues

Get rid of those spot lights, spray the grill black or grey and throw some vk indicators on it. Take the headlights apart and spray the inside surrounds silver and give the glass a nice clean.
While your spraying the grill mask up the tail lights and spray the lips on them, simple cheap effective mods that will really clean her up!
