this is the starting point. as some of you would know my other half had an argument with a concrete barrier and my vl.
needless to say, the barrier won.

after getting a few quotes on the cost of straightening the body, it seemed much more financially advantageous to simply replace the shell. i'll try and take photo's as the work progresses over the next couple of weeks.

the engine bay is now painted black, same as the car's going to be when it's done, now just have to hook up the wiring, i'll post sone pic's tommorow

Ahahah anyway, shiatan was any damage done to the RB30 when your GF crashed it? Or was it a straight out and in engine transplant?
What gearbox will be going into the new shell?

motor and gearbox are perfect, the only thing that got damaged relating to the motor was the radiator support panel and the battery, so it's just that the old car wouldn't drive in a straight line if you towed it. hopefuly i can get a hand with the wiring, as vl wiring is something i haven't done before

had the car running for the first time this morning, can't drive it yet though. I have to put the front half of the auto tailshaft onto the manual one that's in the car and it'll at least be able to move under it's own power
