This is my first car....VK Calais EFI..got her last year for $2500. Totally stock except for the mags which I put on her about a month after I got her. She still got the original AM/FM Radio Tape Deck she came out with! (Gonna be a bastard to get it out!). I plan on lowering, tinting, stereo, replacing the carpet....and doing a couple of minor things to the engine. Had her since September last year, not had a problem with her yet. Have done a couple of minor things myself (with the help of a good mate!)....just to keep her healthy!
Have always loved commies, and after my boyfriend got his first car, a VK, 6 years ago I've wanted one of my own since. Finally got her, and am extremely in love with her

Unfortunately, I'm 1 week into a 3 month suspension of my licence, so am having withdrawal from not being able to drive her..that, and I feel guilty cos of it!

I know a guy that you should be able to get the full carpet for that for $250ish delivered to your door Just let me know when you need it, Stereo, I would go something mild and not over-do it, tis a Vk Calais... Lowering, don't go overboard. Tint, see if you can find someone that will give you a layer of window tint Um yeh hehe very nice ride

Hehe, thanks MaT. I can get it delivered to my door for $175 from a website that does car carpets, but thanks for letting me know. Also, what did you mean, don't go overboard with the stereo cos it's a vk calais..? I hadn't planned nothing big anyway, cos for one can't afford it, and for two...I'm happy enough to just have 6x9's in the back and a half decent head deck! LOL
