hey mate it looks good.
what brand springs you thinking of putting in?
Adam
thanks, probably king springs, still cant decide between lows or super lows though
take the towbar off or atleast the ball cause the cops will fine you for obstructing the numberplate
Adam
hey mate, sweet ride, especially for a first car! well done
Lowlife*
thanks MT269U
the towbar has been on the car since new and the old owner never had dramas with cops, but because i'll be on my p's soon they will want to find something to hassle me about haha
yep the first thing i did was take the tow bar off (but mine is a removable 1) and just chucked it in the boot.
it just makes it look a bit better!!
and then you wont get sore legs
Adam
hahaha, yer i have bruises all over my shins lol
Lowlife*
yeah mine goes under the car and is bolted to everything haha
i just relised you have the same H/U as me![]()
Adam
How low do you think i should go?
I want the rear guard to sit just on the top of the rim, so it covers the top of my rear tyre. And i want my front guard to sit around a cm above my front tyre so i still have turning clearance.
nice car, its in great condition for its age, however in my opinion i dont think the rims really suit the car, my opinion might change after lowering it and such,
but a bloody great condition of the interior!!
good luck with it
i have superlows in my wagon!!
it sits about how you want yours to sit

I am on my learners too and i have also bought a VK 202 efi. I have not done much at all to it and seeing the pics of yours it has given me some good ideas. i bought mine from my mechanic so it has been really well looked after i get about 300 to a bit more than 350k to a tank depending on how i drive lol.
anyways im looking forward to see wot more u do to it further down the track.
thanks mate, seing your economy i think mine needs a service and tune.. mines been looked after too, i'm the 3rd owner and before i bought it, it was kept in the same family since new.Originally Posted by big_c_43

the interior is immaculate. the paint is faded a little under my right hand side windows, the right rear quarter panel paint has some pretty bad sun damage, crows feet etc. thats why i havn't taken the pinstripes off of it yet, they're like baked into that panel

Good stuff. Just dump it on its ass, whack in one of those letterbox grilles and get rid of the pinstriping and you'll be halfway there... Like the rims.
Check out my ride...
