Default My 85 VK Berlina - New dumped pics page 3!

I just realised i havnt posted my car up yet so here it is.

    Name: Corey
    Model: 1985 VK Berlina
    Engine: EFI 202
Engine Mods: Sports exhaust, came with car.
    Gearbox: Stock trimatic
    Power: Not much
Wheels: Chrome 17 inch, not sure of brand, nankang tyres.
    Paint: Browny maroon
Interior: SAAS steering wheel, black dash mat, electric antenna that the people at JB Hi-Fi broke :b:
Stereo: Kenwood head unit, 2 Kenwood 6x9s in parcel shelf, Kenwood 6.5inch 2 ways in front door pods, 2 Kenwood 2 channel amps and an old Alpine 200WRMS sub.

Build period: Since mid February 2006

Cost: $1100 for car, around $700 - $800 for stereo, $600 for rims, $200 for steering wheel and boss kit. Plus other little things.

Future Mods: Take off those stupid pin stripes haha (on the right hand side the paints a bit faded and the pin stripes have gone all brittle, hard to get off)
Get rid of the towbar (maybe put one of those removable ones on)
    Window tint.
    Black floor carpet.
Hopefully a respray in Maroon with a little bit of red pearl through it.

Yeah so tell me what you think Not bad for being on my learners i reckon

yep the first thing i did was take the tow bar off (but mine is a removable 1) and just chucked it in the boot.
it just makes it look a bit better!!

How low do you think i should go?
I want the rear guard to sit just on the top of the rim, so it covers the top of my rear tyre. And i want my front guard to sit around a cm above my front tyre so i still have turning clearance.

nice car, its in great condition for its age, however in my opinion i dont think the rims really suit the car, my opinion might change after lowering it and such,

but a bloody great condition of the interior!!

    good luck with it

thanks the interior is immaculate. the paint is faded a little under my right hand side windows, the right rear quarter panel paint has some pretty bad sun damage, crows feet etc. thats why i havn't taken the pinstripes off of it yet, they're like baked into that panel

Good stuff. Just dump it on its ass, whack in one of those letterbox grilles and get rid of the pinstriping and you'll be halfway there... Like the rims.
