Cheers v8oz
Bolby, yeah I messed around for ages with earths, gauge strait to battery - , sender strait to battery - ect. At one stage I had the gauge moving with current draw (fuel pump priming made it spike, headlights too.
Sorta came to the conclusion that the sender or gauge is at fault, I've ruled out wiring completely. Maybe they are just fussy little ****s of gauges lol.
Could make up another plate in 10mins mate, just need to know your gauge sizes.

Did a bit today, nothings really in yet but heres some pics..
Might remove the front bar tomorrow and put the cooler in and borrow a car till its back together (cbf taking the bar on and off each day for work).

Cheers mate. Yeah I've been tacking everything together in place and taking it to liam for the final stainless steel MIG work. I'll get stuck into it again after dinner.

Well the piping pictured served as a nice prototype so I knew how all the fiddly bits would go together, but I've decided to ditch it under advice from a mate. 1.6mm 304 stainless steel bits are now on order, won't be much happening untill they get here, they usually come within 7 days

We had problems with the TIG blowing holes in places along the pipes due to being thin after grinding down previous welds. Liam was also worried about crap left within the bends from some earlier MIG welding. It could have been repaired and worked around, but I think this way it will be better in the long run.
I was a bit to keen to see it done haha.

Thanks mate, make sure you keep everyone posted on how your project is going too.
Honestly haven't been working on the supercharger very much, but i put in a full day today. Managed to get the cooler in which might not sound like a big job, but damn it is!
Major modification to the front apron, bumper and bumper irons is required. Thankfully a mate has already worked out how much to cut off and where, and even better, his car is stripped currently and in process of a respray. So i headed over and took some notes on what to do and borrowed the front bar to replicate.
As they say a picture paints 1000 words, so;

Cheers guys, taking leave from work now so i've been at the project again...
Cut out a hole in the lower wheel arch for the low pressure side of things yesterday, made things neat with a bit of pinchweld and finished off the piping today.
The wheel one just clears everything on full lock, which is why the piping changes slightly between pictures.
I've almost finished tacking the last of the piping together so hopefully i can finish it tomorrow and get it welded. Then all thats left is some check valves, swap the injectors and get her tuned!

Well the motor has officially seen boost, granted it wasn't much, but boost is boost!
Just sorting out clamping issues, I think I'm going to need a BOV somewhere. Seem to be blowing thin | | |
