Im not bothering to do a conversion to v8 or manual anymore as i have decided to buy a new car in 2008 either another VN/VP Series 2 Calais 304 or a VQ Statesman 304 most likly.

looks good mate your future plans make it sound like its going to be a beast
i've seen this car and man its nice as it is can't wait to see it finshed
looks like a good project, are you gonna keep it silver?
pretty neat vk, rb30 turbo would be much better than a turbo 202!
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
turbo the 202. i was going to get a vk just like yours for my project car but i got the hz. awesome car man can wait for it start transforming.![]()
andy
ill take you for a drive in it next week sometime, so you can actually see it go instead of looking at it up on a jack or car ramps.
Yea most likly im gonna keep it Silver mainly cause i like the way the dark blue pinstrip on it looks.
Yea i know but if i decide to turbo the 202 i'd try and go twin anyway.
Yea me either, its just a matter of time and money as im pretty sure everyone on this site understands.
Nice vk mate. I'll have to keep an eye out for it around Narre South!
I'm frequently going up to the shops in Amberly park/Casey central as its just around the corner so you might have seen me around thereI'll have to make a thread about my ride soon

I work at casey shops actually, so if you see a really loud dark grey Vk there that would be me, and yes you should make a thread, i like to see what other people do with there VKs .
it is alive......tis registered and roadworthy, now the real work begins.
LPG install on the 26th of feb, so sometime in between now and then i will be taking my exhaust & extractors off my other vk and putting them on this one and changing the intake manifold cause i think the one in it now got a hole in it.
LPG is installed and i have it back, gonna cruise around in this from now on, but it has no guts atm on gas they didnt tune it properly, doesnt matter will fix.
Wouldnt bother putting a turbo on a 202, if you want a turbo, turbo a rb30. But you cant go past a v8 vk![]()
pheonix21 took this when i was in the boot soldering the new speaker cables in, me in to boot drops it almost right onto the tyre![]()
2 & 1/4 Exhaust with Turbo Muffler being put on as we speak, going to pick it up in 2-3 hours, finally i can get rid of the stock put put noise.
EDIT: Damn only took 2 hours to do, got it bak at 2, sounds nice even without extractors

Looks nice, should be great when it's finished!
Also, I couldn't help but notice what appears to be a WB Staesman in one of the pics, do you have a topic for it?
