My New Ecotech VH
MY new project! Had to get rid of the ol faithfull Kingswood, and needed something a baby will be a bit more comfy in!
Shes a 1983 VH SLX with a difference!
VS Ecotech Motor, 4 Speed Auto, Full VS Drivetrain throughout, Stock VS Exhaust, VS Dash, and Disc Brakes Allround.
Can anybody identify the rims? im sure they are of something VY
Anyway should keep me busy tidying the old girl up and bringing her up to scratch!

WIll get some more pics up asap, yeah it goes like a rocket its borderline damn right dangerous!
Theres a small ding in the left side rear door near the handle, and quater panel looks like someone reveresed into her...... few small patches of surface rust that need to be seen to, then firstly looks like im going to give it a respray and tidy up all the lights/bumpers.
Whoever had it before me seemed not to worry about the outside of her, so she looks a bit hows it going in spots but after a respray it should be good as !

How well did the VS dash go in mate?
Love the ride dude, I've always liked the idea of having new(ish) engines in older style cars
neat job, got any interior pics?
dash job is ok, need to find or make a custom surround to hide the bolts and brackets that hold it in, paint job is pretty crappy its been resprayed at some stage crap job, but untill i can get it resprayed im not fussed, at least it shouldnt really be targetted, ie who wants a crappy old looking VH !!
Heres some more pics, including one of the damage that im gettin fixed.
And yes it goes very very very well ! considering the VH V8 only came in max of 127kw, im sure it would run rings around a stock VH 308!

Nope easy as piss! easier i think than my old VS calais! i think its because you can reach in more ie not as wide as VS
PS i just started the hideous task of removing the pinstripes! YAY!
Ok, the ugly pin stripes are gone........thank god.....
