Well I've had the vk for a while and thought Id post it up.

Model: 1985 Vk Sl

Colour: Green? PEAKN6 might be able to tell me the colour code

Engine Type: carby 202

Transmission: Auto (I like to think its a manual )

Engine Mods: Vh cold air intake

Power: Not enough

Exhaust: Stock

Wheels/Tyres: Silver ceptors (sprayed silver shhhh)

Interior: Cream interior is top condition no marks/scratches.

Stereo: Sony CDX-F5500 head unit, Cadence - ZX6KIT Splits in the front, Pioneer 6x9s in the rear. Also 12" mtx sub in the boot.

Mods: Custom parcel shelf, Alarm, was lowered but back to stock now.

Future Mods: Will eventually chuck a 308 into it when I get another car but for now its just a runabout.

I picked it up for $1000 last June but have had to spend a bit to keep it going. Since then I've replaced: tyres , radiator, back muffler, air con + regased twice, front struts, dizzy, front headlights and got the engine tuned.

Been a longggg time since I've updated this. All I've really done is fix up the stereo and put in some dark vk calais lights. I had to cut the doors and door trims to fit in the front splits in (which I really didn't want do ) and I've put a sub in the boot. I really want to tidy up the boot and make a sub box which sits right up behind the seat but I just haven't had the time or money.

Anyway im trying to keep my car fairly stock so when I re sell her she wont be another molested vk Its so hard not to change anything though!!

That looks pretty much identical to PEAKN6, except the wheels and now PEAKN6 has VH bumpers

I used to have the same in manual when I was in school, it was a canary yellow. Always loved the VK but wussed out to get a newer car to avoid the troubles an older commo usually gives ya.
Got plans to mod it or just want to keep it stock?

At the moment its staying fairly stock as the engine is on its way. I'm just keeping it stock till it dies and then im gunna chuck a 308 in her and keep it for a weekend car

Got home the other day and noticed some asshole had hit me whilst I was in the parking lot at fountain gate



If I ever catch someone trying to drive off after hitting someones car they better pray for their life

On the other hand.. heres whats to come if my mate decides to sell his engine!

Nice Vk, been keepin an eye out for ya but only caught a few glimpes, there is 5-7 Vks your colour in this area, so im not always sure if its you.

Yea the rear mufflers do tend to rust out quite a bit just from the amount of water that splashes up on to them when it rains and the front struts are a pain in the ass if they dont set the bearings around them right when you get them changed.

the chasers look tough on it and its heaps straight.
