yer that mechanic is fairly giving me the run around but what can ya do its alot of work has been put into it!

nice motor.. in my opinion paint the bumpers/grill/spoiler silver and get rid of the scoop its too big. or swap it for a VK SS scoop..

overall it looks pretty straight though and should look good gunmetal grey

1991_Vn2nV: the car will be finished all painted and on the road in about a month! its not the cash factor thats delaying the car its the mechanic he keeps taking on other jobs while working on my car so im not very happy!


VK_308: yer i am painting the car all the one colour im not going for the 2 tone effect anymore! im looking at getting a full body bare metal respray in either gun metal grey, atlas grey or asteriod silver? cant make my mind up yet!

yer the scoop is very different but it looks tough as guts in person thats why im keeping it on and im thinging about getting it molded onto the bonnet so its all smooth like the new ford bonnets are! my scoop is a torrana scoop moulded on to the vk ss one! its good because when ya driving you can see down into the engine bay from in the car buts still not too big to block your veiw of the road!

there is a couple of brockies going arround geelong and the scoup makes mine stick out from the rest!

i think atlas grey(from VN SS) or anthracite grey(from VP Calais etc) would look good on it!
good point about being able to see into the engine bay that would be sweet

what about mercury silver its the grey colour on the ba falcons it was originally used on valiant charger e49's nice colour would suit the vk imo

Go the VK's love them, its looking nice with the twin gas intakes and sounds like it will go well with the mods done, are you detailing the engine bay at the moment? would look killa with the bay sprayed the same as outside (gun metal grey) then things like manifold, gas t/bodys, timeing cover e.t.c all polish alloy. sould look hot after respray and i think the twin exhaust through the rear bar is cool. Keep up the good work

yer i gotta get all the parts polished up and i am detailing the engine bay and putting the battery in the boot!

and when the engine has been warn in im taking the car straight to Dalton automotive here in Geelong to get a turbo and motec setup! going to be running about 5 or so pounds of boost!

all this is why the car will soon be sporting the plates KILRVK!

And yeah, twin exhaust is cool, don't see many VK's with twin exhaust! (or at least I don't.)

car is almost finished all im waiting on is wiring! i need all the plugs with at least 100mm of wire on them that plug into the looms on the back of the Calais dash! I've called all the local wreckers and no ones got them so if anyones got them im willing to pay top dollar!

yer the go pretty good the fusions and they look pretty good too! i love the green color!

yer you can get fusion packs for fairly good price's now but i bought all the bits separately all at once and got a better discount!

yer its looking very good! I have tracked down the plugs i need and have transferred the moneys across and am just waiting for the money to be received then the parts to be mailed to me! then from there all i have to do is get them wired in and the car tuned, and painted! then KILRVK is set to hit the streets!
