welll quite a busy day for me today! ran around selling my VX SS rims and buying tyres to return home to attack the bay!
picke dup the inlet manifold also - for $70!! i was the only person that bid on it. w00
its crazy how much better some parts will look after a coat of paint.
i removed the battery tray and wire wheel some bits and pieces in the bay to remove rust, also filled in unused holes with some putty that apparently dries as hard as metal lol we shal see! am going etch prime and bog over some bits tomorow and give it a few coats of paint and hopfully itl come up ok!
it went from this...

to this, but it was a fair fk around lol
after the painting in the bay is done ill fit the manifolds and itl all be ready for the GRA adapter which i have to wait til wednesday for...w00
mmm now i see why getting ur bay done costs so much lol
btw- this isnt a pro attempt at doing the bay, just a tidy up

started the day by etch priming and filling then moved onto bogging....oh such fun! im going to work on it through the weekend worry bout painting it next weekend. see how it goes

heres some scary pics for yall
edit- a big thank you to nick_ for helping with the sanding too! its not much fun at all lol
