thought id update this a bit
picked up the car again and went for a lil cruise adn did some stuff with some mates, gave it a good scrub too

then bored on the weekend as my novas still out of action after a lil prang lol
so fitted the thermo fan after abit (read alot lol) of swearing!
looks bit cleaner and sounds heappps better!

also did a bit of work on the custom dash
will be bit different oncefinished but u get the idea

and organised a 550x230x65 intercooler for the car and will mount it like this - but its not square like this lol

ill mod the inlet manifold to have a VK efi manifold welded ontop and run the cooler piping similar to this setup below, but will hopfully be alot cleaner lol

bit of an update, bought some EF thermos (for $60 - **** yeh) as the single 16" was bit borderline on keeping it cool. also decided im going to convert it back to n/a and will mod the manifold still by putting a 180 degree bend where the inlet currently is for the manifold, so wont be as messy as the VK EFI mod. once its converted to n/a ill register it

well heres some pics from the trial fit.
will just have to trim the lower lip part of the apron as its a bit close for comfort

have 3cm to spare at the widest part (above the inlet/outlets) to the chassis rails, so pretty good fit! good be much much higher tho, probly another 15cm lol.
might look at geting a custom one done up in the future, but pretty happy with it all!
will get some better pics in the daylight
please excuse the state of the car! tis bit sad looking atm lol

havnt been doing much to the VH lately, just gathering parts and getting a plan together!
finally painted up some ceptors for the beast!
tomorrow will fit the stock springs and do a few other bits n pieces, also fitting a VN radiator and the EF thermos. so another few things outa the way
then next paycheck just need n/a exhaust, 4 barrel inlet and one of these babies :

then it SHOULD be ready for RWC and rego!
see how it goes though lol

and a few daytime shots of the cooler!
i could slide it maybe 1cm higher, but just cbf for the photo lol

wellll
i THINK ive settled on a plan now lol.
almost 99% sure this is what i will be doing...
will be using custom exhust manifold and 4 barrel inlet manifold.
i figured seeing as im buying a 4 barrel inlet to convert to n/a and will be running the GRA t/b on the 90 degree adapter pointingto the drivers side, that i can run a low mount manifold and should be a neat lil setup!
i have a pic at home ill post later.
but this means my stratta manifolds will still be in tact and are now up for sale along with dump pipe and wastegate

see how long this plan lasts though...

also organised a swap with my VX SS rims for some VK HDTs!
so should look pretty fkn tuff!
heres an example of what itl look like

this is the setup that im going to copy but will have the gas research 90 degree adapter so its pointing over to the drivers side
see how it goes!
ill keep the 4 barrel setup until i get a custom plenum made up, but if the 4 barrel setup works well then ill be in no rush!

welll quite a busy day for me today! ran around selling my VX SS rims and buying tyres to return home to attack the bay!
picke dup the inlet manifold also - for $70!! i was the only person that bid on it. w00
its crazy how much better some parts will look after a coat of paint.

i removed the battery tray and wire wheel some bits and pieces in the bay to remove rust, also filled in unused holes with some putty that apparently dries as hard as metal lol we shal see! am going etch prime and bog over some bits tomorow and give it a few coats of paint and hopfully itl come up ok!
it went from this...

to this, but it was a fair fk around lol

after the painting in the bay is done ill fit the manifolds and itl all be ready for the GRA adapter which i have to wait til wednesday for...w00

mmm now i see why getting ur bay done costs so much lol
btw- this isnt a pro attempt at doing the bay, just a tidy up
started the day by etch priming and filling then moved onto bogging....oh such fun! im going to work on it through the weekend worry bout painting it next weekend. see how it goes
heres some scary pics for yall
edit- a big thank you to nick_ for helping with the sanding too! its not much fun at all lol

i put my engine bay back together slightly as the car has to live outside til it goes to my mates house
and also bought some internationals!
my converter has been hidden under my driver side guard and the engine bay is 99% complete, just missing the t/b and piping for lower part of the radiator
once its at my mates house we will pull everything it and start welding!
heres some pics

and a photoshopped pics where i cleaned up the paint and leveled the suspension!

hey man nice to see a 202 turbo very rare, people usually go rb30 conversions. how does it go?

also when u say converting it back to n/a i assume you mean back to petrol and off the gas? not n/a as in non turbo'd or supercharged or the happy gas

nice vh tho i like the set up, would look killer when the panels are straight keep up the good work!

cheers dude
the 202 did go alrite, but its been extremly untuned since ive owned it, so cant really say how well it went properly tuned.
i am converting to n/a as in non turbo, i have sold all my turbo gear as im going much bigger and better
