bolby i think the rb30 is great, but i love keeping it original, especially when the vh turbo sounded so great....anyway good luck with project!!!..

busy day for the VH today!
pictures speak a thousand words
interior is stripped (except dash which isnt coming out and rear door cards coz im stuck on the fkn window winders lol), engine bay is stripped and prepped for welding, and sanding is progressing slowly.

just incase u though i was lying :P

lol i guess i shouldve written an explanation for that...
when i removed my battery tray the metal underneath was very corroded and weak and reallly bent up, so i decided rather than risk having more bog crack id jut weld in a new section. it wont be left as a hole lol

yea i had to do it too, seems to be happening in alot of old commodores.

FINALLY got my t/b adapter to suit my manifold.
not bad for a 6pack and $30 for the bend lol
should look nice in the bay. pity wont be seeing that for a while!

lol been a while since i've updated here
good ol copy and paste job from my other build threads will do

2jz-ge for $300 complete with loom, ecu and all manifolds, cant complain with that!

FINALLY got all the loom off the 2jz and had a look under the cam covers.
looks to be in good condition.
will attempt to rip the head off after i buy some proper tools lol

this = a mission!

how the engines sitting now
will attempt to take the sump off on the weekend.

finally ripped off the sump, took me fkn agges.
all looks to be well
