Shrek VK

Hey people,
this is my car, appropriatly nicknamed Shrek, of over 1 year now (my first car) and ive just been tryin to maintain it and cruise as much as i can. Im located in Cairns

Its basically a stock black 202 carby with new air filter assembly, K&N filter, lukey etractors and 2.5" exhaust. A previos owner bought a completely reco'd engine 25 000 km ago so shes all good. The few problems ive had include a fuel pump crapping itself and fuel was floating round in the oil after it was looked at.. No idea how *shrugs* umm general 20 year old electrics, windows played up etc etc



Its got a clarion MP3 player, clarion 6.5" in the front, 6x9s out back and 2 kenwood 12s runnin off a 600Watt monoblock ampwith rockford fosquate wiring.

Engine wise its very mild but it sounds nice and can go if i want it to.. Its currently got a 4 speed MC6 (POS) but ive got the 5 speed borg warner downstairs, just waiting on the tailshaft to arrive. Got a heavy duty excedy clutch ready to go with a lightened flywheel also.

The car has been lowered with Whiteline products, Nolthalane bushes and Kmac gear.. so she handles well.. Wheels are genuine MOMO 16" wheels with Yokohama tyres

Future plans are a general tidy up, stone chips, cars openin doors in2 mine and a sizeable dent and gauge on spolier from a car 'tryin' to park next to mine and not leaving any notes or apology.. Also got a 350 holley, yella terra heads... Was aslo quoted $5k to get a RB25 transplanted in2 it fully engineered with VL brakes, dash ec etc... So that sounds good



Shes been stolen once, but recovered 5 days later in perfect order except the stolen previous stereo... Insurance paid for new locks, interior, i paid for a big "phuck off" alarm.

looks good mate dont like the exhaust tip tho the kit looks good and i am surprized how good the vk looks in that colour keep up the good work

cheers and yeah i wasnt too keen on the tip, but its grown on me... that pic doesnt do it justice..

and yeah, i am still yet to find out what the colour is called...

a few lil his on doors, scrapes and a lil collision (a dude tryin to park his car hit mine while it was stationary) he didnt leave a note or anything.. bastard!

Your taillights look hot, nice colour and the kit looks good.

Only thing that spoils the rear is the tip hanging to far out. You should shorten the tailpipe and get a larger dump tip, and have it sit in front of the rear bar. It would still be visible, but not as obvious. And it wouldn't look bad like I think it does ATM.

Oh yeH, and I'm not a huge fan of those wheels either.

yeah, well the exhaust tip keeps the fumes off my paitn which means i dnt hav to wash it as much, bt yeah takin it back behind the bar wud b a good idea...

And i love the rims, reckon it looks nice as.. Worth quite a bit now too

And the colour, only green VK in Cairns.. Saw a lime green VL and was pissed lol
