I have had it about 2 years, Have only added air con, alloy rims and tinted the windows.
It runs a brand new 2000HSV GTS with 25000km with a 5 speed Getrag and VN tail shaft with a VL Turbo diff and front brakes.
It has been dyno tested and got 189kw at the wheels. It is basically has a standard 2000 model VT GTS with Pace maker extractors I think and a Pod air intake. The interior has been redone with vs clubsport front seats and a sinlge disc alpine system that could do with an amp or sub. It has 18 inch polished alloy rims and VL turbo brakes. not sure what else to say,, I will get some better pics later to post
very tidy vk mate got any pics of the engine
check out my ride http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...ad.php?t=49768
nice. pics of the engine would be sweet, how good does the ls1 fit? was it a good job?
I dont think my last reply worked,
The motor is apparently the 5.0 that ghm stroked to 5.7 before the LS1, I could be wrong but it is the GTS motor they put in the VT series 2. it is a tight but neat fit,, the battery is in the boot but otherwise there seems to be enough room. With the VL turbo diff, first is pretty short but it pulls in 2nd real well and in 3rd it just keep going. I had to put bigger rims and stickier tyres on cause it just kept spinning in the wet. With the air con it is a nice cruiser and comfy. I might consider putting power steering in it later but you get used to it.
attached should be some more pics
I am hoping to get some more pics up in about a months time,, its at my parents place, about a days drive away. I may be considering selling it shortly as I have moved into a house with only one garage and my good car is parked in there, which means it will have to be parked in the driveway. I have an LS1 WH Statesman, so I think one V8 is enough to run. I am not sure what price to put on it yet, but I wont be giving it away of course.
