it was in an accident hit the front door shortly after my granddad purchased it and it got a full respay in the same colour when it got fixed. so not the original paint job but may as well be. just washed it today (in the pics) and it comes up so good. people (mainly girls lol) dont like the colour cuz it brown but i would respray it the same colour if i had to.

got a strut brace the other day just for a laugh...actually felt a small difference but only high speed sweeping corners, felt safer, more stable. had to put the old slimmer air filter instead of the tall k&n for clearance. looks a little funny that it only attaches to 2 of the 3 strut bolts but wont affect it, would just look nicer if it did. also the bay is very dirty in the pic...thermo fan soon to come, then get onto fixing the dizzy

VH now officially my project car (*trumpets sound*)...
I've got alot of ideas for the car but i change my mind every week so i'll give you ones that i will prob stick to.
future mods: VL running gear - rb30et, intercooler, fully rebuilt jatco box (high stall converter), spooled borgworner diff, vl fuel tank/pump, vl sway bars (they are thicker than vh's)
B&M pro ratchet shifter, roll cage (not sure on full or half), maybe race bucket seats & new black carpet & gauges otherwise stock interior, full nolethane bush kit, already started on vk berlina rear light conversion (had to remove chrome stripping etc), fully smoothed and painted engine bay (if i could be bothered lol) new exterior paint later down the track (the brown is in very good condition as is)...thats the main stuff that should easily be done by end of the year.

yes that was my plan before this one...few reasons i changed, i helped a mate turbo his r31 and it goes nuts on just stock internals(first time ever at drags got 14.4 he's aiming for 13.9), i like to drive my cars so it will defiantly be driven alot and i can get better fuel consumption with an rb30et than a stock 202 lol, also i can pick up a complete vl for cheaper than a vn v8 swap it over add a turbo and bobs your uncle.
i am a v8 man but imo a turbo'd vh will be a bit more unique and surprise a few ppl. (even tho its been done alot before, not as much as 304 tho) it will be a sleeper, pretty quiet, hidden intercooler (none of this cutting away the front end!! UGLY!)

update: wired up and installed vl tail lights, using them till i buy vk berlina ones, going to modify them by cutting off the tabs that hold the centre garnish as im not using one. that all went sweet but any1 that lives in brisbane will know how windy its been last few days...i had my car parked uncovered down at the garage as i started the lights at night and left it there to finish in the morn...came down next day and found a massive gum tree branch had fallen onto the vh!!! damage report is, 1 shattered windscreen, dented roof, rooted left front guard, dented bonnet, broken aerial and indicator, scratches all over front!....sigh i'll post pics tomoz.

aright well I've been really lazy and haven't taken any pics yet...but it might turn out to be a good thing in the long run (but bad for my wallet). seeing as i got to get a new guard and possibly bonnet and the ding on the roof fixed, i may as well paint it all with some fresh paint. im thinking metallic gun metal grey...any thoughts? progress has been slow as im hunting for another job at the moment but pulling the 202 out in the next few days, starting to pull things off it tomorrow so pics will follow.
