6cyl trimatic tailshaft into V8 trimatic

Hey can any help me, im trying to find out if my 6cyl tail will fit my new V8 trimatic thats about to go into my VH SL/E its all new V8 & gearbox combo the car is orig with a 6cyl L14 and trimatic M40 and diff GU4 can some one help me out cheers
