new beast - 5.8L 355 Stroker VH

Hey everyone. Just thought i'd post some pics and info on me new car. Bought it just recently. Here's some info



1983 VH SL
Stage 2 355 (5.8L) Stroker engine built by C.O.M.E
Keith Black Pistons
Transtyle Turbo 350 Trans
Stage 3 Shift Kit
2500 Stall Converter
Custom Extractors into 3inch stainless steel exhaust
Re-Veloured Interior (White-cream color)
Re-Sprayed Ford Heritage Green
VH Group 3 front and rear apron and spoiler
VK Group 3 side skirts
VL turbo brakes
3:45 ratio VL Turbo diff (LSD)
Holley Blue Fuel Pump
Trans cooler

She runs a bit sluggish atm due to problems with the carby, needs a 650-750 holley and torker manifold to really unleash the power. Also needs to be timed and tuned. Still makes plenty of torque considerin the problems

Plans for the future are to get a bigger carb, better performance manifold, solid cam and lifters, B&M Shifter, basically make it into a real tough streeter.

nah mate, the bloke i bought it off said its been tuned at the c.o.m.e workshop and the kits rated at 270kws. not sure if thats at the flywheel or at the treads??? but when shes all runnin sweetly with the new carb and manifold etc, ill get her dynoed for sure nd ill let ya kno what figures she pulls. I got some pics posted up on another thread, under "VB-VK Commodores (1978-1985)" section. It wouldnt let me post those pics up again for some reason ????
