Default Vk rb30

Model: VK
Colour: Blue
Engine Type: RB30
Engine Mods: None
Power: Dunno
Exhaust: Extractors, the rest is stock.
Gearbox: Auto.
Diff: Borg Warner LSD.
Brakes: Disk brakes all round.
Suspension: Lowered on Pedder springs, adjustable pan hard rod.
Wheels/Tyres: 15's.
Interior: VL Interiour.
Other Mods:
Stereo: None.

Picked this little beast up 2day. VK which has had an RB30 conversion. Pretty much the only thing left VK-ish is the shell. One of the last owners had a VL and transferred everything over.

The body has a fair bit of rust tho, which is the only downside. But yeah oneday we'll chuck everything into another shell.

I know you bought this car with the conversion already done but do you have any idea how they went about it or what problems they worked through because i wanna put a RB30 in my VB. Also has anyone else done this conversion because a walkthrough or some tips and some pics would be pretty handy. You can e mail them to me at fullysik878@hotmail.com

Cheers vb_commie

Thx guys! Yeah I'm pretty good at cleaning up messy engine bays so we'll get it lookin nice!

vb_commie, not sure if u gotta use the VL crossmember, but I know u gotta use the VL steering rack, steering column, and not sure about much else. I don't think it's a hard conversion, even easier if u transplant the dashboard as well lol.

Oneday when the time's right and we've found a clean VK shell we'll put all the gear into it....and plus I think an RB30 conversion is on the cards for my VK wagz (not for a while tho) so I'll take heaps of pics for everyone.
