Hey Everyone, After selling my V8 Torana Hatchback [ Idiot i know ] i was looking for a reliable everyday driver. I looked at afew Overpriced cars such as a VP Sedan and rodeo utes etc but they just wern't what i was looking for. On my way to look at afew more car yards i came across this VC sitting on the side of a Busy road with For sale $1000 ono in the window. So i called the owner took it for a test drive and bought it for $900. It was bog stock down to the AM Radio, however it had a reco motor fitted a couple of years earlier. The only work it has needed was a rear hub seal, water pump, 2 rear shocks and a new speedo cluster because i broke the original silver one. Since buying it i have put a CD player and speakers in it and put on some spot lights for the long highway drives i will be doing with my Go Kart. She really is a good reliable car!!

Yeah those gauges are out of a VH... I broke the original speedo and found that at a wreckers for $40... dunno if i was ripped off or not but i needed a speedo so i bought the whole cluster. I just need the sensor to run the oil pressure gauge.

Any idea what she is worth? I may need to sell her. Will come with a LPG system to suit a 4 barrel carby but the tank needs re stamping. With rego till end of June.
