have just spent $1400 on a new head, had the bottom end checked, my mechanic said the bores looked brand spankin new. The engine was a recent reco, but the head was never pressure tested etc, he said it must have just gone thru the shop and got cleaned up put back together.
head has been, port and polished, valves for gas if needed, and some other work i can't think off my head! runs like a dream! engine is like brand new!

yehh even with the v6 conversion from the vn to vp u will notice huge gains cause ther a light as car...*** off the 202 n spend ur money ther id say..then go ahead with the sc14 s/c

update, got rear, and side venetians fitted.. purchased a VL Berlina Turbo Donor car for an Rb30 conversion... commencing soon..!
the rims came on the HSV WL Granges love the Calais dude that greens my fav colour nxt to the black over silver ones which are super rare tho![]()

thanks mate, car is currently outa reg, got a set of vk calais rims, just polishing em up now, then gonna white wall em, putting the car on supa lows, and getting tint done..
update: will post some pics of progress of polishing calais rims. Just had LPG installled, $1700 with the $1750 rebate, so I made $50 haha..
have painted the outskirts of the windows with fresh gloss black..
2, 1/2 exhaust is booked in for this week coming, but still need to lower, tint and hdt grill her!
and radiator is on its way out again!

sigs are now sittin in my room collecting dust, going to sell them.. bought some already polished vk calais rims off sprigzy for $50!, they are now sittin on the car, have organised some supa low pedder springs for $50 all round.. organised some new pedder lowered shocks for $100 off a mates wreck too.. will pull them out next week! car is screaming to sit lower..
Car has now got a 2 1/2 inch straight through system, with a dump pipe.
Update for future mods:
going to dump a 308 or 5L injected (then convert it to carby)
respray same colour and smooth engine bay, or candy apple red, over the silver.
if i keep the car the same colour i will just re do the interior the same colour..
if i paint it candy apple red, I'll do a full custom interior.. but im kinda wanting to keep it original looking, but neat.
will definatly get the silver all redone at the same time, including the rear garnishes with the orange pin stripes.
I did the pan gasket on the trans, seemed to help, but looks like its learking from the rear main seal of the engine!
put some 'stop leak' in it today, but doubt that shit works!
Will be detailing the inside and out of the car tmoz, so will post pics!!!

Thanks mate, picking up some new complete struts with shockers and springs off a mate, for $150! So will be sitting lower next photo's!..
Alright bit of an update, building a shed to house this old girl in the next few weeks, and I currently have all the boot moulds being re-pin stripped, they have been sprayed, I have new GMH genuine rear tail lights and centre garnish to go on after I have sprayed her. I will be pulling panel by panel off, painting it bit by bit through my painter, bumpers, side moulds, then taking the shell in to finish it off, hopefully have it sprayed and completed by feb 2012.
I have purchased a new radiator, and a HDT brock grill.
Things still needed are new springs, struts, shockers, all new bushes.
and It needs a new main transmission seal.
Rims will be coming off soon, and be repolished professionally, $40 a rim, then cleared.
