My VK Calais 85'

Firstly, i would like to announce, i have an un-conditional love for VK Calais!

Bought this baby for $500!
Since purchasing, i have risen the back and front end. I know it looks tuff, but it was ridiculous! And i need to get the rego changed over from vic plates! So it wouldnt look too good haha!

since buying the car, i got some second hand springs and replaced em, i have found that the coolant and oil sensors are stuffed as they continue to come up on the dash board! i will replace/dissconect them asap! I have discovered a leak in the trans! not sure if its the belly pan, or a seal! otherwise she drives great and is really reliable (more then my last VL!). Not sure if i need to mig weld a new parcel shelf in! but it seems like it has been hacked away at a little, so i might just have to clean it up! the paint around the windows (black) is a little faded, i will start by sanding it that back and respraying them, i intend to purchase some VL CALAIS rims, polish them, and white wall some new tyres for rego, im going to degrease the whole undernealth of the car, to suss out the trans leak, and degrease the engine aswell, with my swifty high pressure hose!

i have already got a neat deck, and 2x 12inch subs/amp (pioneer)
the car has an alarm on it, but the previous bloke misplaced the remotes! so i may just fit a better alarm, considering i cannot work out the brand of the current one!

the wheels on the foto are WH grange wheels, they were taken off on purchase by the owner before me! hence the retarded collection of randomly assorted 15's!

but yeah, this is my baby.. and for $500 bux, i love her! not gettin rid of her! haha..

Haha Yeah norti, im VNSSLUVA's Older brother, ! One with some more sense sometimes haha - VL Calais, well i just thought they'd look mad polished white walled.. you think the VK ones are nice too? or is it just because you've got like 10 thousand :P..

actually the person who sold it knows plenty about them, I for one am suprised at him. But not every values cars in the same way....

Jeez norti, talk about jacking my thread much :P lol, Yeah the bloke i bought it from didn't actually look over the car, because he bought the car just for the rims that 'were' on it. And was going to just sell it to the wreckers because he is trying to get a house deposit and can't exactly be bothered with another project.

Drove it to robe, to get ID-CHECK and REGO, Made it back, Total of 600k's. Started the trip running on 6cylinders, and returned to my mates workshop, running on 2cylinders :] LOL. Head is completely ruined, was on its way out, on the drive there i could tell, but wasn't sure how long it would last, as it progessivly became worse as i drove back. Ended up konking out, when i got it back, sounding like a lawn mower on crack!

New head going on this week!
