My VK Project

Hey guys, Im pretty new here and thought id show you my car.
got given a vk commodore berlina about 6 months ago and dad being a panel beater decided we should do it up because it had potential. Been working on it alot in the last 6 months learning alot about what it actually takes to restore a car.

Engine - EFI 202 (Now 208)
Wheels - VX SS (Metallic Grey)
Trans - Trimatic
Exhaust - 2 1/2", Extractors

Nice man ive got a 1984 vk berlina and its clean as i brought it off and old man and i love it so got ne other plans for her?

well im only on my p's so when im off them i will hopefully put a 308 in it.

but at the moment got black carpet, headlining, painted dash, black door trims and getting seats done this week hopefully. ill post pics of interior when its done.

yeah this one has only done 95000 kms.

Thanks, yeah was pretty stoked when got given it with the kms that low. was just ganna do maroon shadow tone with the paint but then just thought go all the way

yeah they are vx ss rims. got them off a guy for 400 with near new tyres

Very nice mate love the colour.. really makes me wanna start work on my vk.

Is it a 6 or an 8? I'm looking into dropping an injected 5l into mine, relatively cheap and apparently a fairly strightforward conversion. Something to think about eh?

its only a 6 because im on my P's so i cant legally drive an 8. but i will hopefully put an 8 in it in years to come.

just got door trims so fair stoked about that. still need seats and console and a good clean

the chrome strips in the door trims have started to crack. looks bad in my opinion.

nah got them re done from a trimmer. not as expensive as i thought aswell

yeah but only getting it "lowered" not super or ultra low. priced it ganna cost me a grand not installed so that's on the list when i get some cash
