    Default Foaming VH SLE

This is my next car, funny enough I allready own it:!) and have for a long time but it's unused just yet. It's kinda, break glass incase of emergency IE. VP crashing/Finding spare engine etc.

Alot of people will think, pull the 304 out of the VP RIGHT NOW, DO IT!. But no I kinda like the VP too .

I've had a few people me offer around 1,500 for it a few times but I'm allways like umm ahh 1,500 well you can do much with that except pay some bills A VH SLE well that's classic and a very pretty car so I never sell it. You know the classic car you get and keep till your old I reckon this will be it for me. They were new when I was a kid, they were the model above what my parents could afford etc etc it all lines up.

Later this year after I have the 253 in it I'll get it registered, probably leave it like that for a while, Later on in the future I'd really like it to have a high powered electric motor in it. You can buy the motors right now no problem, just a bit pricey at the moment to do that kind of thing

Yes that's the one, few years ago now , it was down the highway a bit and I put a silly low bid on it just to get it started. It didn't actually look as good as it is in the auction. So I had to break the news to the wife that I won it by acident :S lol. But then I went to pick it up and it was 10 times minter than I expected I was actually laughing driving it on the way home at how good a deal I scored. I wont be doing anything to it untill the VP is running how I want it to run (over 200rwkw) then I'll be chaging my interests to the VH I think. It's a pretty thing

Well it's not perfect by any means, like all VH's theres a few spots of rust in the doors on the inside and such pretty much all the blue plaint is thin and needs replacing etc but the interiour and suspension and all that is very good, everything works, it's got electric windows, they work. Air con works, power steer has no leaks etc. It's but since the whole range of motors they came with are pretty crap that never worried me too much. Overall it's much better than average for one that's never been restored and is a good base to do something with

Around 600 I think, about 3 years ago, maybe 650, it has 5 of the factory series 2 rims that came with it, those 17s are just sitting on it for fun

Just saw the interior pic, that interior is absoloutely mint. Love it.

Absoloute bargain for 600 bucks man........And you're right in what you say - you could sell it for 1500 - but in the scheme of things, 1500 won;t get you anywhere these days. When you have the space, its best to keep em. They'll only increase in value.

Are you actually serious you want to put an electric motor in it or were you just joking?

Nah serious. You can buy an electric motor putting out 600 newton meters of torque (from idle speeds) right now anytime, it would be deadly fast and silient. Score a .gov rebate for the Solar pa.....power station on my roof so I can fill it up overnight. One day

Here's a link to blade electrics DIY kits http://www.bev.com.au/diy.htm they do electric conversions to modern small cars then sell them are new electrics but also sell all the stuff to do your own. The big motor AC90 on that page is what they use in buses and stuff like that, it would push a Commodore to 60 mph in the 5's half asleep.

They are actually even better to sit in than they are to look at, famously good seats in those things
