electronic ignition into red 202

Hi ppl. got a Hilux 4x4 with a Holden red 202 on dual fuel, best motor for luxes.
Am after advice as the ol girl has been running a bit rough, have been advised to get electronic dizzy and coil, has anyone any info on how to, what to get, and where to get it from info?.
Is it hard to do for a handy but not mechanically minded old fart like me? mechanic has let me down big time, said to get rid of the Lux as it is an 83, can't afford another one to have what this bus has, needs a 5 speed box and maybe power steering, but had it for 24 yrs and not really an issue.
Any help on upgrading to a new dizzy and coil would be gr8.

yea mate blue 202 has the coil and dizzy,very basic set up but make sure you get the coil to suit.these blue 202 engines are commonly found in vh commodore dont use a vk dizzy set up.best place to get the dizzy is the wreckers.
the dizzy wires go to the coil and the usual wireing to the coil still applies.as in what is in your hilux now.
you will have to change spark plug leads over as it would be electronic igition leads you will need.
YOU WONT REGRET IT.points dizzys are crap!!!!

Will go looking for a blue dizzy this week or weekend, may go for a new Coil along with the HT leads.
