Thanks for reply. mate, The whole diff. I'm talking bout, cause I've been told they have a 4 pin inside of them, to compare the vk's has 1 pin. So, they aren't as strong as the vn's. If they do fit i will put one in my vk. cheers Jason

the VN diff is wider. ifyou have a late VK with a borgwarner diff then the 4pinion center can be fitted to it. then all you need is shortened 28spline axles to suit. most people would find a VL V8 diff wich is only 12mm wider and use that. also 4spider 28spline same as VN, just not as wide. then you can use any ofthe gears that are found forthe BW78 and LSD's or minispools etc

Thanks again mate. I just after a stronger diff for my cars. Cause, I'm getting sick of this single spinn diffs, when I'm out havin fun....My Vh has a worked 6, 4spd, drum rear end... BORING!!...My 2 vks both have V8's in them, both single spin. So i'm just looking to make them stronger.....MMMM----MINISPOOL.......

mmm, yes. single spinners suck arse. the large salisbury isn't to bad except for the 2spider LSD centers which were always the weak link. i think there is a crowd somewhere in aussie that now does some sort of hybrid 4 spider center for the large salisbury which might be just what your looking for.

i have a 4 spider LSD in my VH that is custom made using BW78 components. was designed for the V8 transam light series here in NZ

The higher the better....but as youd want the tyres spinning the fastest possible, it's not always best to get the highest. It depends on ya car really. I've got 4.11's to go in my VK wagz, but if ur motor can easily rev out top gear with 4.11's u may as well get a lower ratio which ur motor can still rev good in top gear with, coz the lower ratio means ur wheels will spin faster....but ya don't wanna go too low that ya motor will struggle.

But yeah unless ya start spending a few dollars on ya motor, I'd just go 4.11's for burnouts....or higher if u can find some.

thanks mate for reply. Probably, like trying to find a needle in a hay stack with that ratio. But, I could be wrong! A another stupid question, I've work 202 with aussie 4 spd, mated to a 3.08 drum diff. Now, I've a disc brake diff ratio of 2.78, I want to put a mini spool in it! (lol)..What do you reckon? It just for shit and giggles.

I got my gears off ebay for about 200 bux. The 2.78 diff sounds like a Salisbury, u may as well just weld it, especially if it's just an 8 bolt....it won't last long anyways :P
