My grandfather has just stopped driving and we are helping him get his car sorted out. He bought new in 1980, 49000kms, but it is jumping out of 4th gear. The clutch has been replaced recently and he has had the flywheel machined. The box feels ok, so was wondering if it may be a linkage adjustment, or something else, as it hasn't done much work. Also interested to know if this is a desirable car to enthusiasts very clean and original inside with a few supermarket dings in the bodywork and has always been garaged.
Dont want to spend a lot of money if its not worth preserving but would be interested in value?
sounds like the gear selector in the gearboxs, it happen to me once.
