    Default location coolant sensor

    gidday
    wanting to know the location of the coolant sensor 84 vk calais 5.o lt
    Ive been told it is not on the radiator.
    always getting lo coolant message and beeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeep

    Low coolant sensor is on the passengers side tank of the radiator its a 2 pin sensor careful undoing it you dont break the nut out of the radiator

    Coolant temp sensor is on the front of the motor above the water pump

    no sensor on left side of radiator there is a sensor on the right side wich Ive disconected and still beeeep bbbeeeeeep beeeee p

    Sorry my bad,
    LHS for a 6 RHS for the 8, try shorting the pins out as the sensor would go open circuit if no coolant, and closed for coolant. if no good check wiring, i have diagrams on my site. Else could be a dsh problem.

    love your website very helpful
    pretty shore its a dash problem
    Dont know if the beep beep beep speaker can be disconnected do you
    I dont want to destroy the dash but I'd love to disconnect that ####en beeper
    until I can get the dash sorted.
    I'm looking for a instrament technican on the central coast????

    yeah Perfect Instruments PH 4392 4993 11 Cornwall Ave
    Gorokan NSW 2263


    If you need a replacement dash I have a working 6cyl dasht he tacho will just need to be set for an 8.
