Vh Vin NUmbers and compliance plates

hey does any one know wat vh commodore vin numbers are cause i dont have compliance plates and my vin number is on the strut tower and is VO32808p does anyone have similar or know anything bout this thanks

Here is a body number for a VH built in Oct 81

Serial number is 536379
Body number is AVH003422 - the 3422 body off the line.

AVH - the A is the first compliance letter for the VH model. Any design changes and they start with BVH.

i think yours is a Police Number.
at some point its had a new VIN allocated, probably due to being stolen and the VIN being removed.

Hi, that is definately a restamp. V at the start and P and the end is Victorian Police restamp from what I know. I had a VH with a VP number and thats whats it was. It could have also been smashed in the front where a new stamp was required.
