does anyone know how much a cam would be for a blue 253 or does anyone know anyone that wants to get rid of one let me know thanks

second hand cams are dodgie as hell.

200 ish for crane cam, 120 for lifters from speedpro in dandenong
230-350 for comp cams from vpw in epping dunno bout their lifters
or try autobarn in sunshine. they have cheap crow stuff. but please, do yourself a favour, stay away from 2nd hand cams.

(having said that i have one here lol. 495 lift 222 duration@0.050)

I got a Crow cam u can HAVE. It's 2nd hand, and has 2 lobes missing. :P ....nah but seriously if u buy a 2nd hand cam u run the risk of getting one exactly like that. The motor I pulled it out of was a 253 and was in our race car when we first got it, I dunno how the hell the previous owner won any races. If lobes are missing I didn't think it would run?? Not 100% anyways.

We use Dynotec cams, can get them for around $160. If ya shop around on ebay I know there's a seller that has a package consisting of a dynotec cam and new lifters for about $180.

yeah i spotted that ebay guy too.

ya cant really go wrong on a cheap build like that. chuck in 20 bucks for oil gaskets etc and there is a 200 buck cam change :S
