Only one of my wipers moves?!?!

I went to turn my wipers on the other day and only one of them was in action (Drivers side) the left hand wiper would slightly lift but fall back down?!? Any idea on what the problem is?

mine done the same thing they only needed tightnig up just lift the cap up and there will be a nut on a thred and if that dosnt work the jagerd shaft is striped
