Default Where are my heater hoses?

    Gurus,

I'm sick of driving to work freezing from the cold air blowing on me through the gap in my drivers window seals and the cold air I get through my heater when I turn it on.

I have two empty looking stumps poking out through my fire wall which I suspect are for my heater. See pics. If they are infact my heater hoses where do they go? I have an idea but I'd like someone else to confirm this first. There are two hoses at the fromt of my block below either side of my thermostat housing that loop back into the engine quite sharply. I'm not sure if they have been blanked off or not. Do the heater hoses go in there? If so top of bottom.

I have an absolutly crap scan of a workshop manual but the pictures are too blury to see anything in detail. Another (book) on the way though.

If someone has the know-how to add a pic of where they are supposed to go that would help but any help would be appreciated.

But both sides are bent over. Does one stay there and the other bent hose is replaced by two heater hoses? If so which side?

The two outlets on the drivers side go to the heater, the ones on the passenger side go to the inlet manifold. Some inlet manifolds are water heated. It doesn't matter which one goes where to the heater core, it will still flow.

That had crossed my mind. I'll investigate this a little more. What would be the worst that could happen? Boiling coolant over my feet?
