VK Calais with brock engine?
Hey guys,
I have an 1985 vk calais 5.0l original 4 speed manual box.
The guy i brought it off was saying that this car has a brock engine. Does anyone know how to check this out?
The plate under the hood says its an : LV2 engine and also engine number starts with VG.

VG is a black manual only 304 donk, nothing Brock about it.
Rare machine you have as well.

Would you know how much power these cars have? I look it up on google but no website gives the same answer.

They were quoted as 130 fwkw from factory. How accurate that is i'll never know.

Pretty sure they have 117kW at the flywheel. Could be 122kW.

LV2 V5H (or V7X)
M21 GU8
or no...Holden 5 litre manual anythings never had Brock engines
only HDTs and later VK SSs did..everything else was as it got built at FBend... by GMH. I watched them do it.

I've never seen a manual V8 Calais in VK or VL range, so it is extremely rare in my books aswell.
Shitloads of Autos tho.

ENG: lv2
Trans: m21
Axel gu4
and the engine number starts with VG
Does that mean anything? :S
I also just found out that the car has an lsd differential which i wasnt aware of..
