The VH i got for $400...

Initially bought to be torn panel from panel, to be used in an endless VC project car (now terminated). Desperate for a car Paiste402 checks the trading post for a cheap run around to no avail but then something catches his eye... the chrome bumpers on the perfectly running VH SL/X 3.3 litre in the driveway...

With the speed of his brothers VR commodore he speeds to the nearest moto rego, registers the little green bus, calls through sprint auto and grabs what is needed to a well over due service and heads home. 2 weeks have passed.

Ive got more pics than this one but ive been working on getting it back to somewat health. It didnt get a service in 8 years.... yea. Its not sludge under the rocker cover, it was hardened plastic. I ran an engine flush and changed the oil, then it was losing oil pressure so i ran diesel through the oil to flush everything and put some delicious Penrite into her. Its got central locking and immobilizer, electric aerial, good panels but the paint of the roof has faded, minimal rust, interior is amazing (although everything is green, lol old commodores had the funniest interior colours!). I need to replace the dizzy cap and rotor cause they are WELL past they due date. Sparkys, filters, oil have all been done and its not too bad, 202's are quite torquey.

Does ur VK have central locking, full immobilizer and alarm, new tires and a very nice green SL/X interior? hehe

but now ive upgraded, 1995 Falcon Futura, power windows, factory alloys, Kenwood CD and Speakers with 3 months rego for $600. might beat ur VK too

Yeh, there are a lot nicer ones too...
