    Default my door trims

    these are my door trims i recoverd in red vynal what do yous think.
    im just wondering if i should go no door handles or get some crome ones[IMG][img=http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/5958/sdc10397.th.jpg][/IMG]

    I like it, looks clean and smooth, BUT I dont think the yellow on red looks good, and maybe to smooth for crappy interior style in early commy's.
    You done a good job though, whats your plan for the rest of the interior.

    [IMG][/IMG]im gonna two tone it unless it ends up looking crap its just an experement thing any in put would be great ive done the dash shroud that was a prick of a job i was going to do the whole dash but i got a bit slack lol bit of a big job.i think yellow on red looks good i want to paint my vb one day just dont have the funds as im about to re ring it and chuck some bearings in it.

    Did you use the info on how to do it from the "How-To" section in JC? I've been flicking through finding things I'd like to do to my VH myself.

    nope i just done it but i might have a look at that thanks mate i just used a staple gun and a hot glue gun

    Opel put in a 2 tone interior in there Rekords like this one in the link:

    You could buy that model dashbord in the colours:
    black
    blue
    red
    green
    yellow/brown

    ouch, yello and red. my eyes hurt. god its too early in the morning for that color combo. lol.

    but it does look very neat wanna do mine? a simple grey tone would be fine thanks.

    yea its bright as the vynal i got to do my gemini it was red but then i sold it to my brother and the vynal cost me $50 bucks from spotlight so i thought id use it on my baby.if my vb was ether white blue or black it wouldnt look as bright.

    i prolly didnt stress enough that it is a pretty damn good job tho

    50 bucks from spotlight you say? hmmm. if i didnt think VK's were the ugliest cars ever made i would prolly go for that. lol. yeah, i am gonna have to get myslef a VH i reckon, so i can do stuff like that and not cry at the money i wasted on my plastic VK.

    what dont you like about the vk i dont like the dash cluster personaly but other than that i like them i love the calais dash. $50 bucks was for 5 meters there was one for $18 a meter and was more uv resistant

    i think it looks good good colour combo...keep us posted. i went from two tone brown to a blue/grey my mister used (vinyl) spray.

    good work mate - very tidy.
    definitely needs arm rests, maybe in a darker red to provide a little contrast ?
