hi ive got a vk with a 202 n im gettin of my ps soon so i wanted to build a 308 for it.
just wondering what motor would be the best.?

if your converting it id go injected 5l otherwise you gotta spend a fair bit to make a decent 308

Depends on how much your spending?

Cheapest - Carbie 5L - pretty restricted ont he VK due to emissions laws much runt he VK emissions gear.

Expensive - EFI 5L - honestly your better looking for a complete car by the time you buy up all the bits for the conversion its usually cheaper.

Medium - - Carb/injected 5L - Injected motor & heads running acarbie instead of injection, excellent cheaper option for good power you get the engine benifits of better flowing heads etc with the carb you should get away without engineers.

You will need a brake upgrade, if yoou go injected you will need to have the car engineered.
