Can you get 4.10 diff gears for the vk diff and what ratios above 3.45's are available?
If anyone has 4.10's and want to sell them let me know.
cheers Paul
you can get 411's very rarely or maybe some 39's otherwise look for a vl turbo diff easy to get parts for
nah you could def get one if your willing to spend big money get kaaz diff components brand new but i wouldnt do that unless you have a 10bolt bit of a waste on a 25 spline diff
nissan pntara diff gears use 3.9 and 4.11 borgwarner fit in a vl diff
yeh but he probly running a salisbury check if your running a borg warner as the later model vk's ran borg warners
had 3.9's in a VH trimatic, 100kms had me at 4000revs, had to cruise everywhere at about 80, went a heap taller to 3.08 just for driveability but i reckon 3.45's would have been perfect performance wise, 3.08's were just too sluggish but were practical for when and where I was driving.
the car has the salisbury that it came out with i have mini spool it and it runs 3.45's at the moment but would love more punch out of corners. The car is the one shown in my avatar pic and it is a track car only.
yeh youd probly have to get kaaz components to change the ratio bit of a rare find for shorter gears
just get a vl diff =3.45 and a nissan pintara diff gears ether 4.11 or 3.9 and chuck a spool in that cheap and easy and as its a track car change the gears your self coz wining dosnt matter in a race car lol
not as cheap and easy as you think only the tubo diffs are 28 spline and im assuming he has a 10 bolt being a 28spline so he wouldnt want to put a standard vl 25 spline diff hed want vlt or vl v8 plus tailshaft mod and vlt and vl v8 diffs arnt cheap but it would be better to go that way bering in mind that salisbury diff parts are hard to get and thats a track car
its only a race car not a burnout car with 700 hp
its not just only a race car the diff would still get alot of ware and tear out there
