Will a VQ steering rack fit into a VK and steer normal? Anyone know?

Ah k thanks mate. Hey how much did ur extractors cost ya, the ones to suit VB-VL EFI 5.0L? I saw a set 2nd hand for 400 ONO but turns out they sold. Saw they don't fit with manual steering.
But I suppose if I chuck the VQ kframe and rack in, the VQ exhaust could possibly even fit as well then. That's the dilemma I'm faced with at the moment. The exhaust has the 2 sides, and both of those join into 1 and go under the motor then back. It was a bitch to get in so we dropped the rack and it pretty much fell in....but now the rack won't go back in with the exhaust there lol. I might just remove the 3rd part of the exhaust (which joins the 2 manifold together underneath), and just leave the 2 manifolds on each side and see if I can get the rest custom made.
